It is possible to experience thrilling dives near the village of Karklė. The sea bottom in this area is covered with boulders and big stones under which a current fetches amber. Even though the Baltic Sea does not have plenty of interesting flora and fauna, it harbors shipwrecks from the Second World War.

Windsurfing and kite surfing with power kites are the most popular activities in the Curonian Lagoon and the Baltic Sea. Kite surfing in the Curonian lagoon takes place along Dreverna and Svencelė villages.
