Route Description: The River Minija is one of the biggest rivers in the western part of Samogitia. It is also one of the most rapid, most rifted and most interesting water arteries for tourists. The river originates in the very highlands of Samogitia and ends in the flat lowland of the seacoast. Tourists choosing water travel get a unique chance to get acquainted not only with distinctive Samogitia landscape but also with its unique cultural heritage. It is recommended to choose the River Minija for traveling during the months of May and June. Special guide Water route on the Minija River have been issued for tourists, which helps to get quicker orientation in the bed of the river and not to miss interesting sites.

Route Description: This route is designated for water sports professionals, as the fast flowing, winding river bed, which is also full of natural obstacles requires experience and stamina. In the summer time the River Žvelsa becomes shallow, and only during the rainy autumn or winter seasons it reaches its maximum height; therefore, this river becomes similar to fast flowing rivers.
Additional information: sailing along the river Žvelsa is organized by a businessman Gintautas Rusteika, who provides the tourists with all necessary equipment and escorts to the hike.

Also, tourists can expect to have a fun-ride along the seacoast in an ancient carriage of horses.
